Come up with a special meal for parents to take their children out for a meal - how about pictures of the whole family?
This is not a day to joke about the President but to repeat jokes they have created - i.e. speaking when they think the mike is not hot, inappropriate pronunciations, etc. Works for both parties, actually started when Reagan did it.
